AK-47, also known as “AK,” “AK47,” or “AK 47,” is a slightly sativa-dominant hybrid strain (65% sativa/35% indica) created by crossing the classic Colombian x Mexican x Thai x Afghani strains. This infamous strain is famous for its one-two cerebral effects, leaving you feeling buzzy for hours. The high starts almost as soon as you exhale, beginning as a cerebral lift that boosts the spirits and an influx of buzzy euphoria. Conversations come quickly as your mind flies higher and higher into happiness, and your body settles into light relaxation and ease. This bud has a sour yet sweet, flowery, earthy flavour with a lightly spicy exhale that intensifies the more you smoke. The aroma is very similar, with an earthy and herbal overtone accented by flowery spices. AK-47 buds have oversized spade-shaped minty green nugs, thick orange hair, and a frosty amber crystal trichomes coating.
Appearance
This batch of AK-47 has small to large-sized buds. This particular grow has minty green buds with dark purple leaves wrapped around them. Each bud is surrounded by light brown hairs and absolutely coated in milky crystals.
The trim is pretty good for greenhouse grown, but there are some fan leaves packed into the buds. It tastes nice and is a surprisingly smooth smoke.
Effects
This is a great anytime strain. It’s super relaxing without being overly tiring. It’s an excellent strain to smoke when you need to relax but still get shit done.
